Hey all

Was wondering what happens if you miss out on say four tutorials per the duration of the semester, does that mean im awarded a fail? Or am i just not considered if i apply for special consideration?

You are supposed to read the first year maths handbook at the beginning of the semester.

It's online, go read it, it's not very long.

I swear all of you newbies this year are completely incapable of doing anything on your own.

Im asking because it says you have to attend all the tuts, but I know some people who have missed out on one and some who have missed out on two.

I skipped them all and got HDs. It only matters if you're a borderline fail case, they might give you a supplementary exam if you can prove you've tried.

It does mention somewhere that attendance alone won't make them fail you.

I sent an email to sandra b and she said it only matters if you apply for special consideration.

On a side note my new chem tut never marks the roll, which is weird.
