Hey, I'm having trouble with this question. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Integrate: (secx)^2 -1

= tan x - x + c :)

differentitaion of tan x = sec ^2 x
therefore integration of sec^2 x = tan x :)

Riiiiiggghhttt. Thanks. Why would a chain rule integration of (cosx)^-2 not work?
