well, i've already had mine! but there are resources out there, you just have to look a lot harder for than other subjects.

It isn't comprehensive, but this post:
https://boredofstudies.org/threads/software-engineering.414091/post-7672494

references a great deal of useful threads and a few (probably unhelpful) resources on this site.

I would strongly recommend checking out all of the threads i've linked in that post, and going through every post in each thread as I'm not entirely sure where the useful information is in each thread. I'll probably have compiled something by the time the HSC rolls around, but for now, the above link is the closest i've got.

BUT. If you're really, really not keen to do that, at least check out the following pages:

Holy thank you, I will be looking through all these as I have my exam on monday. How did you find the exam? What was the distribution of questions like?

From what my teacher has told me, the exam makers like to repeat similar questions from previous familiarisation and mock exams like the input validation (password and username checkers). Was there something similar? Or was there anything that stuck out to you that you think is important to revise for?

I think my teacher is pretty lazy... I can't find where students/randoms can access it, but I know my teacher copied several questions from this "online sample exam", which is not to be confused with the familiarisation questions... I think the questions themselves may only have been made available to teachers, but the link below has the answers. It was this "online sample exam" that my teacher copied a few questions from...
https://curriculum.nsw.edu.au/file/f66b0fd2-10ee-42cc-9e77-aebd6b5b0abe/software-engineering-sample-exam-marking-guidelines.pdf

In terms of content in the exam: (As best as I can remember)
  • SDLC
  • Waterfall, Agile & WAgile
  • Privacy by Design - proactive, not reactive
  • Hashing algorithms - features of
  • DAST and SAST
  • Version Control
  • Front-end vs Back-end
  • POP3 vs SMTP vs IMAP
  • "Why an experienced dev would choose to use HTML and CSS to create a website, while a novice would use a CMS" - this was an actual question
  • Class Diagrams
  • Storyboards
  • Data dictionary KNOW DATA DICTIONARY HEADINGS
  • SQL
  • Python
  • "Ethical, Social and Legal ramifications of a security breach (XSS Attack)" - this was an actual question. It was worth the most marks of all the questions in the Trial
Also, just as a suggestion, make sure you revise any of the following if you don't know them:
(Note that our teacher believes that "including IPv4" means you need to know IPv6, and also note that you should know at least a few parts of a data packet)
  • Investigate and practise how data is transferred on the internet
    Including:
    • data packets
    • internet protocol (IP) addresses, including IPv4
    • domain name systems (DNS)
  • Investigate and describe the function of web protocols and their ports
    Including:
    • HTTP, HTTPS
    • TCP/IP
    • DNS
    • FTP, SFTP
    • SSL, TLS
    • SMTP, POP 3, IMAP
  • Explain the processes for securing the web
    Including:
    • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates
