Hey guys, if I was to stuff up my trials and fail or something like that would how much of an influence do you think it would have on my HSC mark??

I'm just curious because I don't feel really confident about the trials!! lol!

It depends what the weighting of your trials are.

Yeah, I would try to avoid doing that as much as possible (not to state the obvious or anything). However, as the trials usually carry a greater weighting than your other assessment tasks, I would say, it could be devastating to your internal ranking.

So again, avoid it as much as possible, but remember, if it happens, it's not going to be the end of your dreams either. You can always use the HSC to rectify that stuff-up.

So if I did stuff up my trials but did really well in my HSC exams would my mark be alright or would it be really bad?

How much does the internal mark count towards the HSC mark?

It would be alright I guess and the internal mark (all your internal assessments added together) counts to 50% of the HSC mark. The other 50% is from your performance in the final exams.
