what do you guys think so far?

I found the trials MUCH harder, but do you think it is as they actually are harder, or just that we have done more study for the HSC?

i think my trial's difficulty was about the same as the hsc.

and my teachers are hsc markers, yeh, same level of marking.

The Trials were pretty hard for me in comparison to the hsc so far, mainly because my marks in the trial made me realise i needed to study alot harder for the hsc. Hence me being more prepared (hopefully), the thought of failure helps kick things into gear!

Trials. Trialstrialstrials.

For business studies, for English and for chem/maths in comparison to past papers. Especially for chem... the science staff at my school deserve a kick up the ass.

"Oh look, a 3 marker. Let's make them write 8 things and take a full mark off them if they don't write one of them."

Thanks for nothing, Mr F.

I think it varies for different subjects and sections, and different years?

I've done many past Maths papers
And I can say that Trials > HSC, especially Sydney Boys and Ruse papers
At least HSC's difficulty is steadily increased as you do more and more questions
But in those trials, every question has some tricks to them

As for current HSC, I can't say much but just for English

Section 1: Just as simple?
Section 2: Trials
Section 3: HSC

Trials, only because there was no STUVAC or gaps. It just went BAM one after the other for two weeks.

I studied alot more for the trials...(but i got all my notes from the trials for the HSC)

So far i am finding the HSC easier then the trials

good thing to do that - makes everyone scared of bad marks from trials hahhaa

even if the actual hsc questions are easier than the trials, i bet my money the experience will be harder. I sit during the english paper in the mode that its the actual thing, and the anxiety really brings you down. Trials i was like meh, aint the actual thing yet. Ive taken the "not the actual thing yet" attitude all year and now that its the actual thing, im too fuckin tired.

My trials were easier than I expected.
And my HSC so far is easier than my trials... I was amazed. I wasted five minutes just staring at the Yeats question today in the Paper 2 Exam... Here I had been panicking and cramming alternative readings and religious theologies and feminist interpretations and the question asked just for the poetic techniques used? :D
I'm going to find whoever set that question, and but them a puppy.

Most of my Trials consisted of HSC questions anyhow, so...
