Until the school concession expires theres no reason why you can't use it. Otherwise, yes you use your UNSW student card, which should have the concession stamp for CityRail and Sydney Buses stamped on it (provided you filled in one of those green concession forms when you got your student card)

Apparently u cannot use the concession card as long as you have your student ID card. The guy who was selling the bus tickets at the bus stop ripped mine up and told me that...

i always chuck out my old concession cards, no point in using an old one when i have a new one

Q! For the travelpasses...you know it's for 7 days...does that mean like you buy it on Sunday it expires on the Sat night OR you buy it on tuesday insteading expiring the next tuesday it expires on Saturday night?

You buy on Tuesday. It expires 7 days later, ie, the next Tuesday.

hmm. You sure? Cause say I buy a ticket on monday, its expires on sunday. eg: I bought one on monday 14th march and it expires 20th of march. I guess they include the time til 4am or 3am (whatever it is) as part of the week.

wed = day 2
thur = day 3
fri = day 4
sat = day 5
sun = day 6
monday = day 7.
tuesday = day 8

therfore, it expires ONE day before your purchase date.

Yes the 8th day is included if you purchase the ticket after 3pm. Otherwise, its really "7 days".

Yup, always buy ticket after 3pm if you go to uni everyday. Get a single from your station and keep a brown travel ten handy.
