I'm currently doing Social Inquiry and i'm thinking about transferring to Public Communications...

I didn't get a very good UAI but i'm doing okay at Uni atm.

What should i do?
I vaguely know that i should go and see Heather Goodall, but i want to know when i should do this and what i'm supposed to do/bring.
Do i need to make some sort of a personal statement?

Hmmm, I used to know how you'd go about that but couldn't tell you now...although I'd recommend the Faculty Student Centre (level 2 of Building 3) as your first stop, they'd be able to tell you exactly how to go about it all:)

Does anyone know how they calculate transfers?

I'm currently on a distinction average, but my UAI was only mid 80s.
There's a personal statement i have to do, but i want to know how much it's worth.
50/50? 70/30? Or is it entirely up to their discretion?

Oh, and how long is the personal statement meant to be?

Anyone?
