I'm trying to find out how difficult it is to transfer between courses at usyd and was wondering if anyone can explain to me how they have successfully transfered to a course such as law at sydney uni, how difficult it was, what uai you obtained and what results you had to obtain in order to transfer to law.
I was also wondering if you can transfer after one semester or do you have to wait the entire year.

I was specificially wondering for a degree such as commerce to commerce / law.
I obtained a uai of 95.25 (quite far below the cutoff) and was wondering what type of results i will need to obtain first year in order to transfer from commerce to commerce / law.

Please, anyone involved in transfering could you please share with me your experiences.

Thanks

The general consensus is a uai of over 98 and a distinction average. So i dunno, it'll be tough. You can always do post grad law, in pretty much the same time (i think).

didn't minai have a uai somewehre in the 95-96 range, and a d-average, and just missed out on unsw law?
i think aiming for unsw law is more feasible and have a gpa>6 to be safe

unsw law takes the highest of uai/gpa. I guess at unsw youd need a bit higher GPA.
