In regards to transferring universities, does it look unusual on academic transcript if you have repeated 2 subjects at another uni. Besides the disadvantage of paying for the course again, is there anything else I should be concerned about?

Some universities don't allow for transfer of credits from specific subjects at other universities. (Ie Macquarie might make you repeat specific class because it did not see the UWS one as equivalent subject for the degree)

I believe on your transcript it shows what mark you achieved in that subject (ie. F, P, C, D, HD), so If you got a credit at the first university and a distinction at the next, employers might ask why you repeated something if you passed, and you can explain that you couldn't transfer the credit.

If you failed though it wouldn't be considered unusual, because clearly you needed to do that subject for your degree.
