Hello all.
Well, I'm in the process of sorting out what subjects I should do for HSC and....
I've decided:
4 unit english (certain)
ecnomics (certain)
Modern (certain)
bio (certain)
ext history (maybe)
I want to drop chemistry and maths
Is it wise to drop maths or should I probly keep it?

Any advice would be kewl.
Thanks!

It depends on how you're going in Maths at the moment.
I don't know a lot of people who have dropped Maths completely...

What are you least enjoying at the moment? Chemistry or Maths? Hows your rankings for both of them?

thats 11 units? you're sort. Drop chem and Math, no point doin subjects you don't like/do well in.

With 11 you still have a little bit of flexibility and much more time to dedicate to other subjects.

I don't know what to drop, might keep all 13. If I do manage to catch up in Chem, I am gonna drop Modern.

If you are doing ext eng 2 then I think it would be wise to keep maths for as long as possible and see how you go. If you decide as the year goes on that it's too hard then drop it but ext 2 can be a lot of pressure so you want to make sure you have back ups. I was faced with the same decision because i'm doing ext 2 as well but i decided to keep maths as a safeguard, and for me that provides more security because ext two can be pretty stressful if you're a last minute person like me
