To get a UAI of 90 or above, u'll b in the what top % of the whole state?............is it like 20% or 10% :p

my maths isn't the best.
(even though i do 3u)

but yeah, a uai of 80 will place you in the top 20% of the state
a uai of 90 = top 10%

but feel free to correct me if im wrong here :)

actually, yes I'll correct u
its closer to 13 or 14% that get over 90, cant remeber the exact figure

i reckon only 20% of whole state studies.

strange isnt it, coming from a selective skool (and aurrounded by smart ppl outside) i just assumed most ppl study, then I realise the states avg UAI is like 75

it's in one of the board of studies documents on the uai/hsc/sc

i read it somewhere before,

it assumes that all students who sat for the sc went onto complete their hscs?

i'm not sure, it's been a while since i've read all the documents.
something to that tune anyway.

ur sc wont affect ur hsc
theres didnt subjects for the hsc
so i cant see how they can b related

wait a sec ... i dint do the school certificate in australia ... i ended up with a uai of 92. is it possible that my marks have been affected cos i dint do the sc here? i mean, had i done it, wud i have got higher marks?
