You go to both lectures.

You miss a Friday lecture due to Easter, hence no week 6.

Lectures should go for one hour each. What subject is this?

but it contradicts

Teaching and Learning Approach

How are the listed Teaching and Learning Approaches appropriate?
CAD session One 1 hour CAD session per week. It provides the students with the opportunity to work on problems and receive support from tutors.
Lectures One 1 hour of lectures per week. It allows course lecturers to explain complex concepts to a large number of students who will then be able to put them to practice during tutorials.
Programming session One 2 hour MATLAB session per week. It provides the students with the opportunity to work on problems and receive support from tutors.

They are the weeks in uni. There are 13 in each semester.

1 to 5 means weeks 1 to 5, and 7 to 13 means weeks 7 to 13. Week 6 is missed out due to easter public holidays, as Templar mentioned.

the numbers are the weeks of the semester.
1-5 = first five weeks of semester
7-13 = the last weeks of the semester.

You miss out on week 6 because it is the Easter break.

Some tutes will say [2-12] which means they start in week 2 and go until week 12/

u must note that one says one 1hr lecture a week

Lectures One 1 hour of lectures per week. It allows course lecturers to explain complex concepts to a large number of students who will then be able to put them to practice during tutorials.

however if u say a lecture goes for 1 hour then i have two 1hr lectures a week

hence the contradiction

cause on wed i go and i go on friday as well in the week

Yeah, i get the feeling that you go to either of those lectures as opposed to both of them, although engineering probably does things differently to eco and bus

It's supposed to be "one of these". There is only one 1-hour lecture each week for ENGG1801, 2 hours of MATLAB, and one hour of CAD.
