I love all music, it's great... Nothing has the energy and raw heaviness that thrash has though...

Anyone with me? What are your favourite thrash bands / albums? Don't agree?

New trivium is awesome
Trivium suck some enormous balls.

If you want some solid new age thrash, look towards Municipal Waste, Dekapitator or Evile. Municipal Waste are one of the best bands to emerge in the last decade.

Dark Angel are sweet.

You're calling an album that's been out a bit over three months "one of the best ever"?

Pull your socks up, son.

Its just an opinion, popularity and sales dont reflect how awesome something is, its just my opinion that shogun is an excellent album

I suggest people check out sentenced and poisonblack, they arent really thrash but they are cool, im getting into them atm

Testament, Exodus, Megadeth and Metallica are my favourites.

I dunno, i couldn't really get into Slayer that much asides from a few tracks, and Anthrax is about 50/50 imo.

No shit. I was just saying that it's stupid to call an album that had been out three months "one of the best ever". I never mentioned popularity or album sales.

Metallica thats about it for me.
Love Mastodon though not sure if you'd count that as thrash..

and Trivium is a guilty pleasure, I don't want to like them but I can't help it.

They're the big six, The only Slayer album I really like is Reign in Blood and the first three albums of Anthrax, Fistful of Metal, Spreading the Disease and Among the Living are awesome. The only Municipal Waste song I've heard is Nailed Casket.
