Holmes, D & Hughes, K & Julian, R. 2003. [italicise] book title. City: Publisher .

Should be the format

If theyre editors: Holmes, D & Hughes, K & Julian, R. (eds.)

Don't you do "Holmes et al"?

Referencing's a bitch, though, and is always subject-specific and I don't do the subject in question

you tend to do that when referencing it throughout the text but i think in the actual list you need to write it in full

i really think this whole referencing thing is the most fucked up thing about uni, minus the actual assessments and boring stat lectures
