will hopefully be running for government in 2007.
I will share some policies with you. I will share one, ask for comments, then share another, etc.

The first,

----------------------------------------------------------
Abolition of Medicare
“We believe strengthening Medicare is a
great priority for our Australian Government”.
- The Hon. John Howard

----------------------------------------------------------
The Australian Public Health System, Medicare® currently aims to ensure all
Australians have access to ‘free’ or low-cost medical, optometric and hospital care.
Medicare® provides access ‘free’ treatment as a public (Medicare) patient in a public
hospital, and ‘free’ or ‘subsidised’ treatment by practitioners of the medical
profession. The Medicare® system operates on taxes payed for by the Australian
citizens, even those who are not sick. The Howard Government is forcing we
hardworking, decent Australians to pay money for services that they may not, at that
moment, require.
The Young Communist Party proposes the complete abolition of the Medicare®
system.
In doing so, The Young Communist Party aims to
- Save taxpayer money, and
- Lower the increasing population of Australia.
Following the abolition of Medicare, The Young Communist Party will endeavor
to provide all Australians with easy access to understanding, affordable health
care. This will be provided by all current private health insurance providers.

Argh, I can't wait much longer for more comments, I shall move onto policy number 2.

----------------------------------------------
Privatisation of Natural Commodities
“Our land is girt by sea”.
- Australian National Anthem

----------------------------------------------

1. Proposed: The Privatisation of Sunlight.

Every year, the average Australian spends 207 days in the sun. The Young
Communist Party proposes that this incur a small fee on the average taxpayer. Under
this system, a large tarpaulin would be erected to cover the nation of Australia, and
upon the payment of the Annual Sunlight Tax (%0.168), a small hole would be cut
in the tarpaulin, above the dwelling of the taxpayer.

2. Proposed: The Privatisation of Water.

Water is a necessary part of living in the great nation of Australia. Under the Howard
Government, this precious commodity has been wasted, landing Australia in drought.
The average Australian household sees in excess of 200,000 litres of our country’s
water in one year. With current national water availability at 50% and less, it is
expected that every household will incur a very small Federal Water Usage fee under
The Young Communist Party government. Many households may be able to claim a
small discounted rate, however, most households will incur the $0.08/litre rate.

Through payment of this fee (over and above local council rates), access to fresh
water is guaranteed. Access to natural water systems (such as beaches, dams and
streams) is also covered in this fee.

Through these privatisations, the Young Communists Party will ensure
- A higher standard of living for all Australian people.

I smell a troll...

EDIT: I don't see how the sunlight proposal fits in with your "LOL let's mock the free market" policies, given that it a) increases taxes b) gives the government more control c) will cost more money to erect than will be regained from the payment of sunlight taxes d) infringes upon property rights, etc etc

Thank you for your loving comments. This is a communist-based party, we can do what we like, and on that note, I shall type the next of our policies, which I do believe all of your BOSers are going to LOVE!

--------------------------------------------------
Education (Primary and Secondary)
“Teach your children well”.
- Federal Education Campaign

--------------------------------------------------
The Young Communist Party aims to provide the highest and most professional levels of education for those choosing to develop life skills at an early age. In order to achieve this goal, and increase the standard of education for every young Australian, the Young Communists Party proposes the abolition of the public education sector.

The Private Education System currently provides the most effective form of
education for your children. This has been proven through:
- New South Wales Higher School Certificate results
- Statistics and benchmarks, and
- The look of the buildings.

Therefore, The Young Communist Party will provide the highest level of funding
possible for this sector. This will be shown through increased funding for the Private Education sector.

In doing so, the Young Communist Party will achieve:
- A higher level of education for every young Australian, and
- A greater standard of living for all Australian people.

Most effective form? HSC results are higher, however, in University public school kids do better on average because of incentive provided to work for themselves.

"A higher level of education for every young Australian" If every school was made private, inevitably fees would rise and thus be unaffordable to many. Come on man, private schools do better and look better because they get more money, if you want to put more money to education put more into the public system to promote equality rather than abolision.

Is the Young Communist Party affiliated at all with the Australian Genocide Party ?
Not at all, this is the first I have heard of this party.
Well done on 999 posts.

Meanwhile, I will move on to the next education policy,

-------------------------------------
Education (Tertiary)
“I never went to University.”
- A homeless man

-------------------------------------
Under The Young Communist Party all Australian Universities will undergo full
review
. All universities will be sorted into a list of profiting order. The last 6
universities on the list will be closed
. Many Australians would deem this move
unfair, however, under the current Federal Australian Budget, universities impose a very large strain.

In those Australian Universities spared, The Young Communist Party will continue to provide funding. However, a 63.4% rise in HECS fees will be required to cover the cost of the 6 disposed universities.

This increase will provide a higher standard throughout all universities including the introduction of:
- Government run student unions,
- Government run university libraries,
- Partial Government ownership of all on-campus accommodation.

The Young Communist Party pledges full support and allegiance with the NUS.

Great, so I shall move onto our Tasmanian policies?

Fantastic, enjoy.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Tasmania
“Tasmanians shall forever populate our country.”
- Federal Member for Tasmania.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Tasmania’s vast forest regions provide Australia with a large percentage of all wood products needed for the production of many household items. However, many Tasmanians fear the deliberate threat that the current Australian Government imposes on their island.

Under the Young Communist Party, all Tasmanian residents need not fear the threat against their forestry’s, nor their jobs.

Proposed: Full Sale of Tasmania.
The current Government has failed to make New Zealand’s expressed interest in the purchase of Tasmania public. Tasmania is currently the most sought after island in Your Country’s Guide to Island Purchasing magazine. New Zealand’s offer will be considered, however, The Young Communist Party will endeavor to search for the highest selling price possible. This will provide much needed funds for the Government, which the Australian people will immediately see put to use in the import of wood and wood materials from Tasmania, New Zealand.
Failing the purchase of Tasmania to New Zealand, the small island state will be
auctioned on eBay™, and became a portion of the estate of the highest bidder.

How do you expect to gain government when the Labor party doesn't even have a chance in hell?

Hence we have plans for all of these matters.
Should you wish to discuss it further with me, I can arrange for a telephone discussion with one of our party members.
