i agree with steph, the movie was pretty poor, the was cool, but the books/comics were done justice, they were awesome

There are a few trends we can observe about bad films.
1. Films containing popstars are usually bad (e.g. crossroads, spiceworld, gigli, glitter)
2. The sequels to films that were mediocre or ordinary are usually horrendous (e.g. Bring it on Again, Legally Blonde 2, Cruel Intentions 2, Honey I Blew Up the Kids)
3. There are two categories of bad- some films are just really bad, other films are really bad but good (e.g. spiceworld, attack of the killer tomatoes)
Those are the trends I have observed anyway.
