Good atmosphere, though pancake scent can be a little nauseating. Has karaoke and many people choose to dine at this vicinity. 2.5 stars

* Michitaro at Capitol Square

I found a bandaid in my lunch once so 0 stars. I'm not going back there.

* Newtown Thai II on City Road Newtown

Bargain food, relative atmosphere 2.5 stars

* Al Ponte Italiano Restaurante overlooking Cockle Bay

I didn't like one of the waitress but the food was exquisit, the atmosphere was great, intimate and romantic. 4.5 stars

Norton St is in Leichardt (sp?).

No muffins, just sweet & savoury crepes.

Not enough food to justify the price. On the main road, quiet to the point where you think they don't get customers regularly but the food was... average i guess 0.5 stars

gotta line up if you wana go there at night, esp fri-sundays.
the food is ok, atmosphere=well didnt realise much difference between the other restaurants along darling harbour.

*the RIBS (kangaroo or pork) are HUGE, as in BIG, or maybe the plate is small.
*depending on your servant, you might get free water, or not.

Greek restaurant - best greek food i have ever tasted. a little expensive but HUGE servings. service is great, 5 stars easily

Enigma - brighton le sands
another greek restaurant. service can be slow when busy but again, huge servings. great atmosphere- also, awesome deals on greek yum cha wednesday lunch time - worth checking out if you like greek/mediterranean food. 4 stars

blue waters grill outside hornsby westfield. REAL gooooood risottos...and antipasto with uuumph! the atmosphere is posh-ish but still...good stuff!

apparently ROCKPOOL is mad, but neva been. heard that main course are ALL above $70. probably neva steppin in dere...apparently that's where keanu reeves dined when he was here in syd.

some of the french choc/cake shops are GORGEOUS! some in leichart...

the chinese food on top level of market city are GOODSTUFF, cheap too but good nonetheless. serving is huge but atmosphere is loud-ish.

does anyone know any good french restaurants? serving genuine homemade cuisines?
