I betted 4-0 scoreline, and Schweinstager to score first. @ $17 and $11 respectively. If I win then I'll be very very happy. :D

damn i wish i didn't have exams to study for. Still, I'll probably still watch most of the key games. Thrilling first half in the Costa Rica v Germany game.

Don't you guys just love the Joga Bonito ad with the old guy telling us that the 'soccerwhos' have no chance against Brazil? Joga Bonito means 'play beautiful' in Portuguese if anyone was interested.

I think Nike have already taught everyone that. :)

And I just hate em ads.

2 stunnin goals, but terrible defense by Germany. Klinsmann didn't fix the defence up and that'll fuck em up in the knock out stage. High scorin game, well at least Germany got 4 as I expected, but I lost my bets.

Should I sleep or should I watch Poland Ecuador...?

To be honest, a pretty pathetic World Cup Opener, I hardly felt any tension. Ofcourse, the game was made only slightly more bearable by a very sexy German in my living room singing the German national anthem with his hand on his heart.
Also, I think Germany has the best motto. "For Germany, through Germany."

Beside Germany, I'm backing Brazil and Portugal. Australia don't have the guts or glory to win.

Decent start by Germany, I guess they wouldnt have wanted to see their defence been split apart how it was at times, but they got the points which is all that matters in the end, and in fairly entertaining fashion.

As for Poland vs Ecuador, pretty surprising for me. Poland's missed chances cost them in the end, but take nothing away from Ecuador. South America 1 - Europe 0. Interesting to see the England - Paraguay game tonight.

I played with Paraguay against England on Pro Evolution 5. If the result is anything to go by, Paraguay should win 4-1. :)
