yeah there's always the luxury of washing the hands at home (well there is the option of doing so when I'm out, but I never feel as clean as I feel at home). Umm but why get kfc when you're at home? Lol I can think of plenty of better fast food chains than kfc.

No, it ain't. It may seem expensive, but you're not considering the fact that the quality and standard of food that Subway sells, is higher then those at KFC or Mcdonalds. Hence, you're paying for what it's actually worth.

My area recently started sending these little booklets of discount coupons for various food chains.. only catch is that I can only use it around my area's westfield, etc etc..

the subway just near my house is like a franchise thing... the dude is a champ, he owns two stores. and we always get coupons and shit in the mail. and they have those student discount cards as well. $8.15 for any footlong sub and a drink. or $5.95 i think for a 6 inch with a drink.
