textual integrity is the way the novel is held together...
-characters
-setting
-unity
-themes

everything needs to be linked together for good textual integrity of a novel. I am doing In the skin of a lion and textual integrity is essential for it! If you happen to be doing it also, let me know
Cheers

BoS definition: "The unity of a text; its coherent use of form and language to produce an integrated whole in terms of meaning and value." Shepherd told our class to focus mainly on how different readings don't distort the text by leaving out / manipulating events, breaking the textualu integrity... but i think talking about how the different aspects of teh text is held together helps too.

yeah how the text is as a whole

if it seems good as a whole, if there is something out of place / stopping it from being tied together then the textual integrity is not good
