Thought there should be one of these posts where we take turns testing each other, about IPT subject of course, dont know how far this thread will go, but what the heck, it would help all of us as long as none of us cheat and look in the book, well it will work like this, a person asks a question would be me, the first person to answer the question correct, will then have his/her turn to ask a question....

What is an example of a CASE tool? (easy question to start it off)

Project Work I think......

Visio is a CASE tool, lets you make system diagrams nicely....

Hmm look at page 13 in the Carole Wilson book (HSC Course)...
I'm not sure if the IPT syllabus mentions CASE tools though..... but its useful knowledge to know what they are for.

LOL, you will probably not believe this but my halfyearly ipt exam refered to something about CASE tools. I had nfi what it was.....:mad1:

Anyway, keep these questions going, also put some answers on here as it might help.

doesn't mention hammer code or CASE tool!:( :(

my school uses jacaranda...but its gay...trust me...
i dunno...my teacher was heaps cheap and photocopied the communications chapter out of another text book coz he had nothing else to teach us...
breaching copyright i reckon!

what is the definition of a DSS (not what does it stand for)? and i have never heard of hammer code...

:jaw: .... c'mon Rasnier easy on the questions, I have never heard of any off these Things you are talking about. :( Are you sure it is from IPT!!!!
......or it could just be me, as I could not be up to the chapter you are mentionting bout. I am only up to chpt 1 and the option topic Multimedia Systems.

even though its an option though, its mentioned in Information Systems and Databases......(the defintion that is)

IPT is full of useless information which makes us look smart...like what ADSL stands for
