prioritise. Fuck them. My english work up until very recent was outlying my other subjects at probably 6:1. But all done now, one more exam. Which subject is it?

I guess you have to sympathise with the teachers as well, coz they're under pressure from the school to produce results.
If the situation were reversed and your results were bad, guess who the first person your parents would complain to is...?

Just my two cents...remember: teachers are there to help you, not to make your life difficult.

Wait until your worst enemy sends porn to one of these foul beasts, then emails it to all other staff members...whenever I look at one of them now, I can see that pink underwear in their retina...fags.

Our school's english teachers think that all the time. They think the only subject we study is English, giving us enormus works that would be impossible to finish unless we give up on other homeworks on other subjects.

I guess you could just stuff the English assignment and concentrate on your other subjects if you wanted...there's no reason why you should necessarily treat any one subject better than the others.

Very Old maths homework trick: do the first question, the last question, and a couple in between.

My Art & FT teachers were like that, and if we got marks that didnt look great on paper, then we were up for the lecture on how we have to work harder and make more time for their subject and how important they are in terms of the HSC.

talk about stress!!!

Too right...
My English teacher hates maths - so when I told him that I was dropping English Ext 1 because of the work in Maths Ext 2...understandably, he was probably quite peeved :p

my maths teacher is very understanding, but there is just too much pressure from one of my history extension teachers!! she gives us 20 pages to analyse, those who do it will understand how much analysis it is!!

Thats not entirely true I had a teacher that was pretty good, if we communicated with her and she found out that we had a bunch of assesments and assignments due around the same time she'd lay of the homework. Oh we loved her for that coz it would make things a little easier. I guess teachers like that though are few and far between. :uhhuh: :)

Most my teachers think like this; you just have to workout what's most important to you!
They're teachers -> they teach us the work, not do the HSC for us... :uhhuh: (unfortunately).
Just don't listen, all the subjects that YOU chose are as important as each other! (Well, mine are anyway! -> to me)

:)

Yeah but the point is that even the ones that are trying to help you think their subject is the most important... it sucks that they go "you should prioritise" and then say "you need to do more work in this subject"... we ARE prioritising, hint hint.

teachers are there to help you not to make your life a burden. some people just don't get it, they dont have to give you heaps of work, because its up to you to do it and if you dont then they cant do anything about it. it's your hsc
