Actually China is socialist and Russia is now a very ordinary democracy haha Russains, such a big drop in world status, but for the sake of this argument lets call China communist,yes war is almost inevitable but that cause of the rise in power of China, not really cause its a communist country.


What I want to see is China's vice president (no one ever talks about him) get into power, I believe he'll take on Bush and then we'll see some real fireworks!!

You want to see fireworks, china has a military force of over 2 million, america has a strong military force mainly due to technical abilites, but such a thing would not be fun to watch as both are superpowers, it would be a bloody and dangerous war, drawing in the allies of both major sides, further more, if one side was definetely losing then there would be a possibility of a nuclear conflict- ever read 'on the beach', or watched the film?

I think a nuclear deterent exists so there will be no fighting, not when one side feels like spoiling the fun of manually killing lots of people.
I'm also not sure how many allies China can draw on when the US has the world by the balls.
Besides, what's the point of a war of annexation when we have globilisation?

For the sake of conforming to your hasty judge of character, what did you find hard to digest about my assertion? was Taiwan not created over something other than a political stint that didn't even last a generation? or was it a deep movement to break away with the mainland and create a threat of war for the world?

i'm not judging your character, why would i even bother doing that when the your 'facts' are so blatantly wrong? the schools are not all named after us presidents or associated with the military, and maybe you should go look up 'fascism' and 'dictatorship' in the dictionary first so you can stop embarassing yourself

I've been doing some calculations and I'm watching the Chinese news everyday (via sattelite) , it got alot of militart analyse and I'll say that if there was a war tommorrow vs America, China would lose (F*ck I want them to win, personal bias) I've calculated allies involvement too, but it wont be like Iraq, America will run outta bodybags, but if there was a war 5 yrs from now, It gonna be impossible to call, by then China wouldn't have much of a technological disadvantage plus factors like attackers traditionally lose 3 times more troops then defenders, China has more personial, America cant suffer more then 10,000 death cause of politcal outrage!! In 8 years or more China would have a advantage, espcially in the politcal arena, China really want to bite their time and Taiwan knows that!

Yeah China's government is pretty dodgy, But instead of complaining, why not do something about it !!
