i have just started yr 12 last week and our teacher was going through all the core studies and what we will be doing and told us we'd be studying aggripina the younger for our personality in their times.
Now today, for no particular reason, i was looking through the syllabus and at page 57, it says that:
For the HSC examination in 2006 and beyond students will learn about ONE of the following personalities from ONE of the following areas.
Egypt Greece
A Thutmose III G Cleomenes I
B Nefertiti H Themistocles
C Seti I I Philip II
Near East Rome
D Ashurbanipal J Tiberius Gracchus
E Hezekiah K Cicero
F Darius I L Livia
No aggripina.
So i text sum friends at other schools and they were doing alexander the great...and he doesnt feature on the new list either.
Anyone want to try and explain this before i go and announce to my teacher that if we do aggripina, we will be stuffed when we open our hsc exams next yr and find that it isnt one of the options?? lol
