Okay, I've been trying to sort this problem out all day. In CS:1.6 i manage to get good FPS (70-250), but when I'm playing DOD: Source i only manage a max of 25. My mate and I have pretty much identical hardware specs and he gets no less than 40 in DOD. I've configured everything exactly as he has in the NVidia Control Panel but to no avail. Tried all different resolutions (both screen size and modes (normal and widescreen). Any help would be appreciated.

Currently running on:

Intel Core Duo E6600 2.4Ghz
Corsair 2gig ddr2
Asus 8800gts 320mb ddr3
Asus P5K-SE
Seagate 500gb SATA2 7200rpm

help me pleaseeee!!!!!!

drivers?

do you have the same settings as he does in DoD? revert everything to default for DoD:S or do a clean reinstall of it.
