I was wondering,
if say you do poetry for the area of study text thing i.e Gwen Harwood. Does it matter that one of your stimulus pieces is poetry?

theoretically it shouldnt matter as long as you write well enough. however, the examiners tend to look down upon it, as the whole point of the hsc is to show your ability to understand various mediums, and by doing two poems you arent really conveying that ability to them.
