i'm determined to do something to do with russia and world war II... i know that much.

however, i do question my ability to come up with any consise or logical question to which i will respond.

Investigating wether or not Stalingrad was a result of Russian military brilliance (HA HA), or German high commmand incompetence has been my only hit so far.

does anyone have any other ideas oh how i could narrow my topic down to a more easily researched idea.... as i am truly at a loss...

my teacher has suggested i look at the 'truth' behind such hollywood productions as "Enemy at the Gates" and "Saving Private Ryan" perhaps that would be slightly more fruitful... once again, any help would be appreciated.

the whole idea with this project is controversy...differing opinions. i like your idea, it sounds interesting - i would want to read it. Also, make sure that your project doesn't coincide with topics you're studying in Modern history. Good luck!!!!
