Thank fuck you never got elected, Quah. I'd never want such a hot-headed, idiotic toss on the SRC.

And, by the way, if the Conservatorium students had wanted you on the SRC, they could've got you there. They didn't. You still had no chance of getting Prez, though.

If Conservatorium students had been given a fair opportunity to vote, then they would have. I am well and truly of the belief that the SRC needs to move to a proportional representation model, with a set number of representatives from each faculty.

Nick Wood for Reichschancellor!
So is Nick Wood a real person or just a puppet for Rose Jackson?

I haven't seen this Nick Wood ever.

I am fully of the belief that, if Conservatorium students were as unhappy as you make them out to be, they would get off their arses and do something about it. I agree that the hours weren't adequate at the Conservatorium (or anywhere else apart from Fisher and Wentworth), but:
1) The law building in Martin Place is a 5 minute walk from the Conservatorium, and so there was the option of voting there on the Thursday.
2) It'd only take an hour to grab a bus from the Quay down to main campus, vote and grab a bus back.

If anybody deserves to be able to whinge, it's people at the SCA.

Its amazing that quah can get only 60 votes and still blame everyone but himself and his party.

Everyone knows that he would have won if he wasn't black.

I think Falun Gong was involved in rigging the election.

Of course not. You think the SRC is going to put up with an independent?

Is that a typo because I think you meant Asian.

If its any consolation Quah, I refuse to believe your vote count was 60 too.

Surely it had to be much less...

The Independent Students Association is an evolution from the work begun with Conservatorium RESOLVE and the ANDREWQUAH&RESOLVE campaign for SRC. Its goal, like RESOLVE before it, is to advocate non-political approaches to leadership at our university. It is, in my belief, important that our student representatives approach representation of students with the intention of serving students first, and politics second, and the RESOLVE Committee agreed with me in this regard.

That's an absolutely disgusting idea.

Im not sure if you are saying that my figures are wrong, or the voting was rigged.

I came up with 60 votes from the fact that

a) in the other really long thread someone said total voter turnout was 3000.
b) in the same thread someone (possibly you?) said resolve recieved 2% of the votes.

2% of 3000 is 60.

I may well be wrong, im only relying on bos data.

You are not 'non-political', its just that you suck at it.

I do have political beliefs. But the SRC is not the appropriate venue for pushing political views.
