Hey,

Whilst surfing the web, I've somehow picked up some sort of spyware program, and now when I go to google.com.au, I get a small o in the left most corner of the screen.. Has anyone else experienced a similar thing, and if so, how do i fix it ?

Get a spyware detection program like Ad-Aware. Its good and its free... and probably will find your spyware program...

Ok....

Ad-Aware and Spybot are good starts in weeding out the crap on the comp...

to fix the toolbars etc and try to figure out what they are get this

hxxp://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/ <its called HijackThis and once run will show you all the entries which have been stored in the registry...now for the fun bit, what your looking for after the scan are things which you dont recognise, or alternatively post the results here and i can direct you to what to delete.....

ok. thanks.. I'm just downloading it now.

EDIT :

Don't worry about it, I fixed the problem by deleting a hidden gif file in the temporary internet files. Thanks anyways
