Hope you're enjoying your holidays. My name's Praveen, I tutor only year 12 chemistry. I can teach year 11 as well, but I have more experience with HSC. I know the HSC course inside out. In 2005, I got 97 and 7th in the State. My teacher wasn't the greatest in the world, so had to teach basically my whole class, so I've got experience helping people of all levels.
I live in Rosebery (its near Randwick, no one knows where it is) and study medicine at UNSW. If you were willing to travel to UNSW or you live in Rosebery, I'd charge only $25 per hour.
Last year I had only one student due to time constraints (med is hard work). He didn't do year 11 chemistry and got a very respectable 88 as his final mark. This year I will probably have time for more students. I know how to communicate the tricky topics, and the basic ones as well.
I'll print out my syllabus summaries and give them to you as we go along, so you don't need to do any background work, its all done for you!
Here are my marks and stuff if you are interested - I don't think they're that important, what's more important is I know chemistry, I can teach it and I've got experience doing so.
UAI: 99.85
7th in Chemistry (97%)
After 2 years in Medicine at UNSW, averaging 75.0 which is a distinction average, puts me in the top 16% of med students.
