Also in the back GA part, but I only bought my tickets about a week ago so that makes perfect sense.

and

this was one of the albums I heard because my sister had it...i can't say i liked it as much the others I heard (DN, Goo, Sister). Probably just needs a few more listens...

i heard some murmurs of disappointment on the way out, but overall i thought it was a great show. maybe not the revelation that the pixies were... but still pretty fantastic.

standouts:

silver rocker
the end of 'the sprawl'... ugh, so pretty
cross the breeze - my favorite song on the album, and they nailed it
the trilogy
the encore, since i missed their rather ripped tour in '06

nitpicks... i've never been a huge teenage riot fan, and i thought it sounded particularly flat tonite. not a great way to kick off. similarly, i thought eric's trip sounded pretty weak w/o the didgeridoo like on the album.

also, i don't like the enmore for seeing bands. it just feels so... impersonal?

still, definitely memorable all round.

It's pretty fucking excellent when you're leaning in front of Thurston as he's dancing around shredding away.

They have also finally made Total Trash sound great, I don't like the album version. Totally agree with 'Cross the Breeze kicking ass.

yeah, i felt a bit underwhelmed but...i left when they started the play jams run free - did they only do a 3 song encore?
