Marilyn Manson :(

Last year during his tour in Australia I missed it and everyone else I know went and kept repeatedly telling me how good it was.

I had to pretend that I hated Manson so they'd shut up.

Meanwhile I secretly bought two Manson's albums and listened to them daily and enjoyed them a lot. Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally wish I hated it though.

I hope that doesn't get out.

indeed, britney's new album (borrowed, not bought) is a guilty pleasure. there're one song called boom which never fails to get me in the mood for a good party, and everytime gets some rotation. there's a whole back catalogue of my primary school music that retains residual love from when i was twelve. hanson can still reduce me to tears. (i also downloaded a song off their new one. *hangs head in shame and feels jeff buckley roll in grave*) i have also appropriated my sister's BEP cd for months on end.

latest ones:

ashlee simpson - pieces of me
natasha bedingfield - these words
blink 182 - their last 3 singles
bowling for soup - 1985

basically a lot of so-cal pop punk. stuff that screams summer, beach and road trips.

i make no apologies for sinatra, billie holiday or anything from the 80s.

yeah mate i'm also a natasha bendingfield closet fan.

"read some byron shelly and keats, receited over a hip, hop, beat."

ahahaha i hate lemar so much. The Darkness are my favourite band and he didn't do the cover justice. The only good cover i've heard is edson's cover

ok let's just accept that britney's production team is awesome. :D toxic, boom, stronger, my prerogative (my current dancefloor fave), crazy...you can't go past a dirty bass and unashamed sex-pop.
