Emo is short for "emotional" but it's a genre of music that exploits peoples emotions, it's really a rather general word and general genre, I mean, very few songs aren't about some type of emotion.
Emo songs are usually about love, breaking up, being depressed etc... Shit like Dashboard Confessional, Bright Eyes etc etc

Well.. I'm seeing my guy this friday night (hes coming around here for some drinks with a few other friends).. and I'm so damn nervous it's not funny..
