i have some trouble giving:
  • examples of intercultural misunderstandings
  • how to deal with them.
  • strategies to avoid culture shock and culture stress
could you giv me some examples. it would b a big help.

aww i feel bad that no one replied to this, so i am :)
-despite the fact you posted this four years ago and probably no longer use this site.. Anyway I'm doing a cross cultural study too, and am having touble with my comparison :/ society and culture isn't as easy as i thought.

Ah, I found trouble with it last year in my preliminary course, but my teacher helped me out alot.

Cross Cultural comparison is when you relate your very own culture (Australia) and relate it to another one say India, India is our main focus in my class and its my example so for example

In the Indian world, funeral wear is white, while in the australian culture, white appears to be a colour of purity and black is the colour worn.
