looks like he shall retire.. no big deal.. he didn't score for 5 YEARS or something before that Ireland game anyway..

i dont blame him for not turning up.. i wouldn't play for Australia..

Meh.. I think he's bluffing. Playing for Australia in hopes of qualification for 2006 is the only possible thing he's got to look forward to in his career.. unless of course if he somehow attracts Monaco or PSG or a ECL team next year. Based on his form atm though, I doubt it'll happen

playing a south american side on south american soil is tough, no matter the team, as represented by todays result and 2002 loss to Uruguay 3-0...
Socceroos were all over Venezuala until that injury time goal!

As with Viduka, he's not retiring , he released a statement. he'll be banned for 1 match though, which is the one against man utd which they'll probaly lose.

any defence that juninho can score two headers against is a bit worrying, viduka in decent form wouldve caused manu some issues there, looks like milner, smith and pennant are gonna have to carry the load there.

then again leeds are too piss-weak at the back to stop manu from scoring at least 2-3 goals away from home so it should be an easy three points.

I haven't seen this thread in ages. Anyway, Man Utd is a more interesting team atm then Arsenal or Chelsea.

And as for Parker's move to Chelski - I agree with the feature article. He can wave his international prospects goodbye. I mean, at Charlton he was appreciated and needed. At Chelski, he'll be lucky to be a regular - unless, someone injuries Makelele or Lampard. :p

J Cole can't defend. As for Bogarde, it's been a couple of seasons. :p
