i need to build a motor for my school and i am thinking of using electromagnet or permenant magnet. for electromagnet where i can buy iron and where can i buy powerful permenant magnet. and where should i buy coils and other equipments? would dick smith have all i need?

pretty sure dick smith would have all you need, you could buy one of those motor building kits, dunno if that is allowed though
