Traditionally, students at high schools would use textbooks provided by the schools. Now, that we are in uni, are there any other ways/methods to get you hands on these uni textbooks for which you'd need to study on. Personally, i would'nt want to buy it new from the bookshop, as it will place me on a burden.Each books is going to cost around $100. Is there any other way to buy it for a affordable price like how we use to buy HSC study guides. For eg. buying second hand?? Where would you find ppl that have that book and wanting to sell??

My mum works in a bookshop and I get a 25% discount on the books that i buy :D :D :D :D

Yeah, textbooks are generally on closed reserve at your library.

If you want to buy secondhand, check the notice boards at your campus.

I buy all my textbooks brand new. Habit, I guess. And really, I'm not going to find any second hand policing textbooks.

Yeah, who wont wanna save like half price on a book and then sell it back at teh same price? so theoretically your not paying a cent on the text book, everyone likes that.
