I don't think he should get it but the peace prize is always given for actions of the previous year, so only events in 2024 are taken into account so he never could have won it anyway

They gave it to Obama during his first year of presidency so it’s really just up to the committee If they were to consider this year’s actions or not.

The US was supplying a majority of arms imported to Israel, not 'Trump' himself. Trump isn't the reason Israel has had the arms to carry out this war. But even if Trump had wanted to cut off weapons exports to Israel, he could not have decided to do this single-handedly and would have faced substantial opposition in trying to do so. So it is not correct to imply that Israel has the weapons it does because of Trump.
Furthermore, most of the deaths in gaza occurred before Trump returned to office, and even if trump had managed to cease all arms exports to Israel on his first day back in office, as virtually impossible as this would have been, it would not have immediately led to an end of fighting in gaza.
In reality, the best way for Trump to end the war in gaza (when considering the domestic and/or international opposition that would have hindered alternatives, such as ceasing arms exports to Israel) was Trump's peace plan (or something very close to it).
It is also very unlikely that alternatives to Trump (Biden, kamabla or alternative republican candidates) would have pursued this kind of option or any other option successfully, meaning Trump specifically was instrumental to this peace.
