Should I bring my laptop on my first day? (1 Viewer)

So i start tomorrow and i'm freaking out/about to cry. should i bring my laptop? all i have is one lecture and i don't wanna carry it around if not needed. i was just planning on taking my pens, a notebook and my iPad, or should i bring my laptop just in case?

I think you'll be fine without your laptop.
In lectures, they will go through the unit outline, learning guide and cover a bit of content. you'd be alright with some paper, pen and your ipad.

oh, really? so i should be fine not bringing it for a little bit? just don't want anyone to think that i'm unprepared or anything, haha.

if you dont want to print out the unit guidelines /outlines and stuff just bring the laptop in case you do need it . 1st/2nd weeks are just intros so ou should be fine

I've gone to uni without a laptop for 3 years.

What in the world is the whole fuss about taking laptops anyway? Geez...

Yeah i was gonna say, pen + paper is the best way isn't it? I mean you don't REALLY need your computer especially if your gonna bring your iPad already. Writing is much better and helps you remember (thats what a english professor i know said anyway and i agree)
