if there were two metals (both more reactive than iron) used to protect iron by coating it a layer of the metal. Which one would be better?
Would it be the most reactive one out of the two?..........Or would it be the one less reactive out of the two since it wouldnt corrode as much and therefore last longer?

would they protect the iron the same way?

im confused.....thanking u in advance :p

they SHOULD be able to protect iron the same way
provided the same amount is used... but as you said
the more reactive metal will probably have to be
replaced more often

ok thank you so much for confirming that with me......so if a question asks which one is better, you would say the one which is less reactive out of the two??

ive never seen a question like that and hope it wont be in this year, lol
I think the less reactive should be chosen

plus- all the past papers ive seen just ask you which metal could be used
giving only one more reactive metal anyway... so I doubt they'll ask it
