shawshank is a classic tale of institution and experience, my english teacher has highly recommended it and im using this as a 2nd o.r.t if we need to use 2.

Whats wrong with shawshank, a bit late to say if u want to succeed... Don't really have a choice to change text now.

if you have a nice analysis of shawshank, regardless if 90% of the state has the same analysis, provided it follows marking guidelines, they cant just mark you down because its so often, they aren't nazi's

use shawshank as a comparison of the effects of institutions on individuals and you can also compare environments, dont use related texts to mirror your prescribed, only to extend ideas or explore other ideas

They might not mark you down for using the same text as everyone else but they'll be more sympathetic if you use something original.

Marker's have boredom limits too, and it's naive to assume they can't be swyaed in little ways.
