CHEM3913 Catalysis and Sustainable Processes (Adv) - 74.0 Credit
ECOS2901 Intermediate Microeconomics Honours - 82.0 Distinction
ECOS2903 Mathematical Economics A - 100.0 High Distinction
FINC3017 Investments and Portfolio Management - 68.0 Credit

Very surprised about ECOS2901 (I was on 35/50 before the finals which were worth 50), somehow I nearly got full marks in the final exam or scaling worked its magic on my score lol. Absolutely stoked with ECOS2903 :D (was expecting 80s-90s but certainly not 100!) not to mention it's my first high distinction in a commerce unit lol (though this one is a "math" subject).

On the downside, disappointed with CHEM3913 (just missed a D damn it!). I think I did well in the final exam and the relevant advanced seminar assignments (which were 90+) but I know my craptacular marks in the organic labs (just scraped a credit in labs lol) were eventually going to drag everything down. Very disappointed with FINC3017, which ties with FINC2012 as my lowest mark so far, though I absolutely hated the lecturer of FINC3017 who made everything so hard. I fear my mediocre FINC marks will screw me over when it comes to internships :(. I really need to redeem myself in the coming 3rd year FINC subjects...

So yeah - mixed bag lol

I was talking to a guy in the lab last year, and he was saying that 3113/3913 is notorious for being very easy, in that the exam marks are all really close together, hence scaling is massive. Did you find the exam remarkably easy? I'm considering enrolling, but I don't want to jepordise my WAM before honours.

The exam wasn't easy, though it wasn't difficult. I thought I did pretty well in the exam and also did pretty well in the advanced seminar assignments (got 90+ for all those assignments) which should've saved me from a crap mark. However, I know I did shockingly bad in the organic labs which dragged everything down. I have no idea what the scaling was like though I imagine there probably is some element of truth in that claim because I didn't hear anyone whinging about the difficulty after the exam.

I think it depends on the class... I remember one of my classes stated that only 3 - 4% of the cohort got either a D or HD. So potentionally.. no one got a HD in that class.
