Hey there,

I was just wondering does security or staff at a club have the right to search you or ask you do show them what is on you? I understand that if you have a weapon or something dangerous that they might; but what if you have a small amount of drugs, small flask or something you wouldn't want them to see?

Thanks!

I don't think they have the right to search you if you're 'normal'

however if your high, if they can smell alcohol, or you have something sus about you (they will often make up things) then I think they are allowed to.

If a drug detecting dog sits infront of you, they also are allowed to search you

(this might not be 100% right though... it's just what i have always thought)

nah, this applies to police

afaik, no they're not allowed to search you, but if you refuse to comply, they'll just kick you out anyway so you're ending up in the same place
