what are the importance of cycles of materials in ecosystems (water cycle, carbon cycle and nitrogen cycle). what are these cycles anyway?

and how do humans impact on ecosystems?

It is through these natural cycles that resources are renewed.

For eg. Water cycle (simplified) --> evapotranspiration, condenstion, precipiation, evaporation....

these cycles are MEANT to be endless and could be considered as the life cycles of the resource.

Human intervention disrupts these cycles, negatively impacts all components of the biosphere. For example, poor irrigation practices raise soil salinity and evaporation rates.
