Hey

Can anyone tell you what all this means?

(mainly the first 2 lines)
"The School of Mathematics Teachers Scholarships are awarded to a student (or students) with a UAI of at least 85 who wishes to become a Mathematics teacher and enrols in an appropriate degree program. Applicants must include a statement of no more than 500 words about why they wish to become mathematics teachers, and an academic and general reference from their high school Mathematics teacher. For renewal, the students must continue their enrolment in a degree program for prospective Mathematics teachers and must maintain a satisfactory level of achievement in their University studies."

whats that scholarship thing mean? does that mean I can learn for free?

it doesnt mean u can learn for free ... u still pay HECS. but the university offers u "allowance" which is tax free and can be used at ur discreetion. how much they pay u varies from scholarship to scholarship.
usually, u are expected to maintain a credit average (>65%), else u lose the scholarship
