I was hoping that someone could kindly explain the concept of "scaling" to me.

It may seem like a dumb question to some of you but my school wasn't kind enough to explain it to us.

Anyway, what's it got to do with ranking and everything?

Thanks for your assistance

Thanks without wings.:)

So just out of curiosity, do my courses scale well on average?

3 Unit English, Legal and Ancient History look like pretty strong scaling subjects.

It's good to know which of your subjects are well scaled, but you need to remember that if you work hard you can still achieve a great UAI, even with badly scaled subjects.

Or use JUAISeek0506 (search for it).
Or be gullible like me and get Premium and access Premium SAM.
What's the difference with Premium?

- Multiple UAI calculations from 2001 onwards
- Reverse "UAI-to-HSC-marks" function
- Advanced scaling algorithms
- Comparative scaling graphs
- Performance band distribution graphs
- Explanatory material on scaling and the UAI
- Statistical updates
- Prioritised support
