Assuming someone has 98% or so in a subject that scales very well (4u maths, classical greek etc), would scaling bring it up to 100%? Can it be more? Assuming 85% would already scale you up to 100, what would then be the benefit of getting 98% as a raw mark?

but it's a bit old (1/2 years?). Anyways, 98% goes to 99.8% it seems..

that's 98% HSC mark though
