i did acceleration maths last year and got 89 for 2U (would have been over 90 if i hadnt got 22/40 for first assessment)

i am now doing 3U and 4U maths and am wondering wat marks i need in 3U and 4U to get my 2U scaled mark into band 6 territory.

Cheers.

nah. they look at ur 3U and 4U results and give u a scaled mark of what they think u would have got if u did the 2U exam and course.

No they don't!
Who told you that?

If you 3 and 4 unit than 3 unit counts for 2 units and 4 unit counts for 2 units

Yes, they only look at your 3 Unit result and 4 Unit result to determine your mark 2 Unit as well. Therefore, only marks you need to worry about are 3 Unit mark and 4 Unit mark.

That is why 3 Unit Maths counts as 2 units and 4 Unit Maths counts as 2 units.

no..... that would make 7 units of maths. completely illogical seeing as you would only be undertaking 4.

3 unit counts as 2 units
4 unit counts as 2 units

ahaha anyone doing 4u maths should know this

3unit is worth 2units which is why you get a mark out of 100
4 unit is worth 2units which is why you get a mark out of 100 aswell

simple?
2u has no value, it is not lookd at

Well back on topic, this is relevant to my interests as well. What was the scaling like, say, last year? Even better, since I heard that the standard was dropped last year, what about the year before?

Any past 4U students want to share how they went? Did anyone gain access to their raw marks?
