Does anyone know what aligned mark (approx) a 'high-range' and 'mid-range' response equates to from the sample student answer booklets?

Also, can someone explain the standards packages of 2001/2002 to me. For instance, if one were to have written all the examples given for band 5/6 essays in that year, they would achieve 90 for their aligned mark (the one we find out)?

I think a "high range" response corresponds to around band 5/6 and a "mid range" response corresponds to the state average (in most cases band 4).
For the standards packages, a band 5/6 response means that this particular response was at the borderline between a band 5 and a band 6. So I would guess that the aligned mark may be 89-91 perhaps?

at a guess, i'd say that high-range responses probably would have received raw marks of 17-20/20, and mid-range would be around 9-12/20
