Do you know how good u have to be to be paid big to play sports
its the same with acting, musicians and other performers. Im not discrediting those careers but damn... you have to be so much above your peers if u ever want sport to pay off.

seeing as how being a doctor / lawyer / CEO or whatever floats ur boat is actually within reach for the average person, being a success (in terms of material wealth ) thru that path is infinitely easier than sports in our case.

oh and in the case for talent zaijan, soccer is only a game of practice, practice, practice and enthusiasm just like studying for an exam. You aren't born being naturally good at this game, it all comes down to your hard work. Oh and if you start off at an early age you'll be greatly advantaged.

Hey abdoo, you know you can gain a scholarship from UNSW and USyd just for playing soccer for their teams.
What i mean by scholarship is you get a substantial discount on your Uni fee's. The bad side about applying for the UNSW scholarship is that they play in the NSW Second division, how crap.
And as for the tetrahedron scheme, liverpool drew with Wolves, ha

So do you think that the State Government decided on day to make some of the better students in the state to list Ruse as their first choice on the selective application?

Obv not...it built a reputation...and thats why it gets better students.

In reality Ruse isnt what it used to be 5 years ago...our head has gone completely bonkers (ie : installing a security camera in our senior common room, which is on 24/7 and monitored by a live feed)..but most of the people at ruse arent to bad.
